M3Syst
- Mobile Modular Monitoring System
The changed threat situation and international mandates of the community
of states bring new tasks for armies, order services and police. The demand
for professional solutions for the security grows. The mobile surveillance
system M3Syst can relieve the safety personnel during the monitoring of
areas and objects effectively and is suitable for armed forces, border
patrol and the civil protection. The monitor M3Syst is mobilely, flexible
and autonomous. It consists of four simply transportable, standardized
ISO containers. Container 1 serves as access control module, container
2 as surveillance control module. In the containers 3 and 4 is stored
and transported all periphery components such as camera and sensor units
as well as auxiliary facilities. M3Syst can be adapted with extension
modules at any time to a larger area or higher safety requirements.
Modules
Surveillance control center module
All detectors used in the M3Syst convey their signals
and/or alarms of the central control unit in the surveillance control
center container. The central control unit consists of programmable controllers
SPS, digital bit map memory DBS, public-address system, as well as serving
and indicators of a safety conducting system SLS.
The security guard of the control center evaluates the
alarms and introduces if necessary an intervention. Further the guard
staff can the environment over the video pictures of the external cameras
permanently supervise and if necessary over the loudspeakers messages
set off.
Access control module
The access control module allows the controlled entrance
possible into the internal protected zone.
Im In the access control container there are used metalldetektors,
fingerprint scanners, luggage x-ray unit as well as intercoms with portraitcameras.
The air-locks for persons with weighing platforms ensure the sort of the
admission into the internal protected zone.
Sensor module
The sensor modules detect the presence of objects in
the monitored zones. The modules comprise both fence and free-field sensors.
These systems may be used in combination without any mutual interference.
Microwave
sensor |
Microwave sensor:
The microwave barrier is an active alarm unit. By this term one
understands that there is a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX)
in the system. The transmitter emits a signal within the microwave
range.
MWSThe receiver (RX) receives the signal and
evaluates it. The received signal does not correspond to a certain
sample e.g. frequency, amplitude, signal contents etc. an alarm
is spent. If the differences between sent and received signal
are too large, an alarm is passed on to the center. The MWS protects
a monitored area up to 100 m and between 0.6m and 12.2m broad.
For longer security areas several systems can be used. |

Passivinfrared sensor |
Passivinfrared
sensor: Each object, persons, animals, or objects
send infrared radiation in function of their surface temperature
and size. PIR An object moved into the effective range of the
sensor causes itself a change of radiation, which is converted
into an electrical signal and an alarm releases. The detector
uses a radiation, which is always present. It is 100% naturally
and harmless. |

Electrical field sensor |
Electrical field
sensor: The sensor unit EFS detects movements and
penetration attempts of people, objects and vehicles on far distances
and announces this to the central control unit in the surveillance
control container.
EFSParticularly suitably is the sensor in hard-to-travel
areas or in small forests, where it adapts to the topography in
the best way. The sensor can be used as well on flat terrain. |

Surveillance sensor |
Surveillance sensor:
The detection principle is mechanical, i.e. the impact sound,
which an intruder causes, is transferred, taken up by the fence
to the cable and converted to an electrical signal. ZUSThe sensor
cable, which is woven or tied up into the fence, is equivalent
sensitive on its whole length. The evaluation of the electrical
signal is prepared by a center and converted into an alarm. In
the center are filters, which eliminate unwanted signals. That
can be rain, wind etc.. By filtering these events one achieves
a good relationship between desired and unwanted alarms. |

Which system is used where depends on the tactical protection strategy.
One sensor can monitor a zone of 100 m in length.
Camera module
The
camera module is used as observation tool. It serves for it arising sensor
alarms to confirm visually.
KAMBy the use of static thus of firmly aligned cameras
(monitoring cameras UKA) and operated by remote control ones thus around
360 degrees tiltable cameras (observation cameras Federal Bureau of Criminal
Investigations) an optimal cover of the security zones is possible.
Storage and Transport Module
LTMThe
storage and transport containers are used for storing and transporting
all camera and sensor units, together with their stands and all accessories,
spares and fi ttings. Two standardised ISO containers are required for
each system. The containers are easy to transport, and provide optimum
protection for the individually packaged units.
